Tidying Up Service

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of services provided by Tidying Up Service (“TUS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to clients (“you,” “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Who We Are
Tidying Up Service is a registered cleaning and support service provider in New South Wales (ABN 92345885158) and an approved NDIS Provider.

We provide services across Sydney Eastern Suburbs, Parramatta, Blacktown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, The Hills, and The Great Lakes area.
2. Services Provided
We provide the following services:

- Residential Cleaning

- Regular Cleaning

- One-off Cleaning

- End of Lease Cleaning

- Emergency Cleaning (for eligible clients)

- Office Cleaning

- Kitchen Cleaning
Limitations:
We do not provide:

- Heavy lifting of items over 20kg

- Disposal of large rubbish or hazardous waste

- Pest control or mold removal
-
- Cleaning of medical waste or contaminated materials

- Cleaning of cracked/broken windows

- Cleaning infested houses
-
- Services in homes with sick pets are provided unless the pets are removed from the premises
3. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable New South Wales legislation.

- We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact details, payment information) solely to provide and improve our services.

- Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

4. Bookings and Payments

- Services can be booked online, via email, or by phone.

- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

- Full payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- We accept payments by bank transfer, PayPal, debit/credit card, or cash.

- Rates may vary based on property size, condition, or the presence of pets.

- Emergency Cleaning Services are only available for people with disabilities, terminal illnesses, or those in urgent need.
5. Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.

- Failure to provide notice will incur a charge of 90% of the service fee.

- TUS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to emergencies, unsafe working conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Refund Policy

- TUS does not provide refunds for completed services.

- If you are unsatisfied due to failure to meet agreed service standards, we will arrange a new booking at no additional cost.

- Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Provide safe and reasonable access to the premises.
-
- Remove personal belongings and valuables from the cleaning area before service.
-
- Supply any special cleaning products required due to allergies or medical needs.

- Treat our staff with courtesy and respect.
-
- Provide accurate information when booking services.
TUS is not liable for damage to or loss of items not secured or disclosed as fragile/valuable before service.
8. Service Provider Responsibilities
TUS will:

- Deliver services with reasonable care and skill.
-
- Provide invoices clearly outlining services, costs, and payment due dates.
-
- Maintain appropriate insurance (workers’ compensation and public liability).
-
- Protect your privacy and handle your data securely.
-
- Review service arrangements with you every three months (for NDIS participants).
9. Liability

- TUS is not liable for pre-existing damage, improper item placement, or instructions given by the Client that cause damage.

- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
10. Code of Conduct
You must not:

- Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against our staff.
-
- Defame or damage TUS through false or misleading statements.
-
- Copy, reproduce, or misuse TUS logos, trademarks, or business materials.
-
- Circumvent billing processes or provide false information.
-
- Attempt to physically contact staff without a booked appointment.
Breach of this clause may result in termination of services and legal action.
11. Employment and Partners

- All TUS staff, subcontractors, and volunteers must provide required documentation (e.g., police check, ABN, work permits, insurance).

- Staff are entitled to rest and meal breaks under Fair Work Australia guidelines.

- TUS may partner with other cleaning providers to deliver quality services.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
